Our Leadership Team
Tyler Riddell, COO

Tyler is a highly driven and results-oriented leader. He is a disciplined problem solver and enjoys building solutions to meet customer needs. He has experience in social media, strategic communications, market research, customer service and administration in multiple fields including Title Insurance, Legal Services, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and non-profits.

Tyler graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Biology. Despite a full-time schedule, he took a leadership role with Enactus, an ORU business leaders’ organization. Recently, Tyler graduated from his Leadership MBA at ORU with High Honors, and he was presented the ONEOK Excellence Award from the Dean of Business. Furthermore, during his masters, he began serving as the Strategic Marketing Manager for The REL Group and became the lead partner at Something Good Consulting Group, which he still currently holds.

Tyler has led the development of a social media strategy for The REL Group and established 3 social media channels. He initiated the strategy with a kick-starter campaign that coincided with the largest HVAC industry trade show in the country and, in less than a year, The REL Group has organically engaged nearly 3,000 followers across 3 social media platforms that reach 12,000+ people monthly.

Driven by his childhood experiences, Tyler is very passionate about a healthy lifestyle and healthy communities.  He recently completed a year-long residency with the Dana Juett Social Venture Partners Leadership program.  As a new alumnus, he volunteers as the Chair of the Marketing Committee for the same program.  Tyler is also a member of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Young Leaders Society.  He is a serial volunteer with a heart for the disadvantaged and gets involved wherever he sees a need.  He’s been a mentor for young people, served on overseas mission trips, helped to build community playgrounds and school gardens and organized relief drives to help those affected by unexpected tragedies or natural disasters.

Michelle Riddell, CEO

Michelle is the co-founder and CEO of Something Good Consulting Group. Leveraging her veteran C-suite experience at one of the largest health insurers in the country, Michelle joined forces with her son to launch a management consulting firm that is guiding socially-minded businesses and individuals to effectively engage with their stakeholders and drive long-term, sustainable results.

Before starting her consulting practice, Michelle served as vice president of strategic communications and community investment with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas where she managed the organization’s influence strategy. In this role, she led public and media relations as well as the corporate social responsibility efforts including serving as the Chair of Be Covered Texas, a nationally recognized, grassroots community initiative to engage and educate Texans about the health care law. The campaign reached millions of Texans through 350 community partners across all 254 counties in Texas.  Prior to her transition to BCBSTX, Michelle spent 20 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma where she held key management positions across many areas of the organization.

Michelle is a passionate advocate for healthy communities and serves several non-profit organizations that she believes advance important public health and educational initiatives. They include the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Dallas Social Venture Partners, Out Teach and It’s Time Texas.

Michelle graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and passed her certified public accountant exam shortly thereafter. She is a graduate of Leadership North Texas, sponsored by The North Texas Commission, as well as the Leading Women’s Executive Program, developed by the Corporate Leadership Center of Chicago.
